A revival of Richard Eyre's 2014 production resetting the story in the 1930s, it features such rising stars as Ukraine's Olga Kulchynska (Susanna), the Italian Federica Lombardi (Countess Rosina) and France's Marianne Crebassa (Cherubino). Also adding to the youthful energy will be the Texas-born Michael Sumuel and Canada's Joshua Hopkins, as Figaro and Count Almaviva, respectively.
The broadcast will be sung in the original language, and shown with Hungarian and English subtitles.
